This case is not suitable for Boosey & Hawkes Imperial, Besson New Standard or Besson Sovereign 992 BBb Bass Tubas. It will fit the Besson Sovereign 994 models made from the mid 1990’s onwards. Please ask for fitment advice prior to purchasing.
The JP861 Pro is our top of the range BBb tuba case. Perfect for the busy musician, this shaped fibreglass case is well equipped for a rigorous playing schedule. This case will fit a wide range of BBb tuba models and includes a number of moveable padded blocks to ensure a good fit and maximum protection (please ask for fitment advice). It succeeds in amalgamating maximum convenience to carry, versatile functionality and a high level of protection.
The JP861 Pro features an open interior design with movable padded blocks which can be used to secure many different brands of BBb tuba with a maximum bell diameter of 19″. Outside the case, a number of high specification components can be found including YKK zips, 2 leather covered carrying handles and hard wearing wheels. Finally, the case features a large A4 pocket perfect for sheet music / small accessories along with a mouthpiece pouch and luggage label.
