A refurbished or used mouthpiece is ideal for anyone wanting to try a new size before spending ££s on a new one, as a cheap alternative to replacing a damaged mouthpiece or to replace a missing/lost mouthpiece. With a good quality cornet mouthpiece starting at £50 to over £100 for a bass tuba mouthpiece a second hand one is a good alternative.

Mouthpiece instrument FAQ’s

• New mouthpieces are boxed and unused as from the manufacturer. For hygiene reasons new mouthpieces are unreturnable if they have been used unless there is a fault.
• Refurbished mouthpieces have been replated to ‘as new’ condition and will be supplied with the original box or a mouthpiece pouch. These can be returned with the original packing within 7 days at your cost however the refund will be 90% of the purchase price less postage costs as long as the mouthpiece is returned in unmarked condition. This is to cover the cost of re-polishing the mouthpiece and card processing costs.
• Used mouthpieces have been cleaned and polished but will show light signs of use, supplied with the original box or a mouthpiece pouch where possible. These can be returned with the original packing within 7 days at your cost and the refund will be 95% of the purchase price less postage costs to cover the card processing costs.
• A full refund will be given for mouthpieces with a fault not mentioned at point of sale.
