   I was looking for a very specific preowned Trombone.,and when we found it at Duchy Brass I was delighted. When it arrived I was more than thrilled with the condition of it. My teacher played it for me so I could see it’s really capability’s and we were very impressed.

   We sold Jenny a sovereign cornet and accessories, A quotation was offered after sending photos and accepted, goods were shipped to Duchy and in 48 hours Jenny paid and job done, she is an absolute credit and the kind and thoughtful way she did the deal was superb.

   The Sterling Virtuoso tenor horn I purchased was priced very low as a second hand instrument but was in brand new condition making a great saving on the new price. Very helpful service at Duchy Brass and one of the few places left where you can try out various instruments. Thoroughly recommend.

   Very impressed with the friendly and helpful service from Duchy Brass in purchasing my new York cornet! Don’t hesitate to reach out about a specific model you’re looking for even if it isn’t listed, which was the case with me. I had been looking for this specific model for years, and they happened to have one in fantastic shape. Jenny was also very helpful in figuring out currency conversion and the whole process went very smoothly. The instrument was very securely packed, and arrived completely undamaged despite making a trek overseas. 10/10!

   I purchased a nearly 50 year old Boosey and Hawkes baritone horn.
   It arrived it perfect condition, cooler than new,some parts in frosted silver,some parts polished.
   So much effort, it really surprised me.
   Also the shipping and packing, perfect!!

   Just bought my beautiful Vincent Bach Stradivarius 36G trombone which arrived yesterday. It’s a beautiful instrument. I’m absolutely delighted with it. Excellent service and communication from Jenny. She was very happy to answer my many, probably silly, questions. I was struggling to find someone trustworthy enough to buy my new instrument from. Look no further than here. I also needed a new mouthpiece and I bought a high quality second hand one. I’m looking forward to many happy hours playing it and the many jealous eyes that I will get from my fellow band members!

   Thanks for a fantastic international trade – Am in New Zealand and was keen on a round stamp Besson tenor which are far and few between here down South. The item arrived perfectly packaged, and exceeded my expectations. Condition absolutely as described this seemed hardly used for its age. What a sound! WOW. Thanks again

    Wonderful experience.

    My 1980 B&H Imperial Euphonium arrived this week and I couldn’t be more pleased. I am a older learner with no great musical aspirations, but felt it was time to upgrade to a decent instrument – although the prospect of spending large amounts of money on anything always make me nervous. Used euphoniums are few and far between here in North America. Purchasing something based on photos on eBay seemed dubious at best. My search eventually took me to Duchy Brass. Jenny was wonderfully patient with all of my questions. Her prices are very competitive with those here in Canada, even with the cost of shipping. The latter was well worth the premium just for the peace of mind of knowing that the instrument was coming from a reputable dealer.

    The horn is a beautiful as advertised. It looks almost new and plays beautifully, even if I don’t.

    Looking for a sound Boosey & Hawkes Euphonium from the 60ies or 70ies I found my way to Duchy Brass through dozens of dubious offers in the ebay-, reverb- and gumtree-World. After some time waiting for an offer fitting my budget Jenny took great care in revising the instrument, checking every detail twice. When the export to Germany got stuck in German customs (or maybe in the incompetence of UPS, I don’t know) she tried everything she could do to speed up delivery. I can highly recommend Duchy Brass! You get excellent instruments at a very fair price.

    Just taken delivery of a lovely British made Sovereign Tenor Horn from Jenny at Duchy. It was in excellent condition for the price advertised, it is very hard to see the very few dents. Jenny was very helpful in answering my questions by e-mail and directing me to the FAQs on the web-site. The instrument arrived beautifully packaged and in a timely manner. Sound quality is excellent and it helped win the Instrumental Ensemble at Llangollen International Eisteddfod! I could not be more pleased by the quality and service offered by Duchy Brass!

    Many thanks for the two Geneva Bb cornets which arrived promptly and were in fantastic condition, just as you had said they would be. The whole process from the first email enquiry to receiving our two new cornets was streamlined, with great communication throughout.     I stumbled across the Duchy Brass website while digging through a Google search for a used professional-quality trumpet for my son. Am I ever glad I did! I had spent a few prior months watching Ebay and Reverb in North America, but everything seemed to be well-used and I was nervous about buying a used horn without trying it first. Jenny had just the horn we were looking for, and she assured us that it was in tip top condition. And, indeed, it was. Like new! Shipping and import into Canada was very easy and fast. I was absolutely delighted by the service, price, and quality of the instrument we received, and can’t recommend Duchy Brass enough. Tell all your musician friends. 🙂

    Without knowing anything about Duchy Brass I bought a Besson Sovereign Eb tuba for 3995 GBP. (A lot of money for me!)
    I´m living in Sweden and had no possibility to visit store to play the horn.. However; when tuba was delivered it was a beautiful instrument. And it blows so well and fulfilled all my expectations.
    I can really recommend Duchy Brass to any potentially brass buyer!

    I purchased two 2nd hand mouthpieces from Duchy Brass.
    The transaction was simple & went straight through.
    The package arrived when it was supposed to, well packed & the mouthpieces were exactly as advertised.
    If anyone can tell me the difference between the two 2nd hand I bought & new ones, I would take my hat off to them.

    Simply outstanding!

    I cannot praise the service we received from Duchy Brass highly enough. Buying an instrument of significant value long distance having never seen or tested it in person would usually be a gamble, but you are in safe hands here! The excellent communication and photos meant we were confident in our purchase and when the instrument arrived it surpassed our expectations. Our son is beyond delighted with his tuba and we will be shopping here again in the future for sure!!
